Orthopaedic On-Call Survival Course is accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for up to 12 CPD points and recognised by the North West Core Surgical Training, Severn and Scotland Deaneries.

Description

The two-day course will enable participants to gain insight into common orthopaedic conditions encountered during busy on-calls, recognise orthopaedic emergencies and learn principles of management. The course will provide an overview of trauma management and ATLS algorithms that will prove very helpful during the busy orthopaedic on-calls. Finally, the course aims to facilitate participants to develop skills through simulation workshops and dry-bone practical skills sessions.
